Meet Emma

Your Member for Pakenham

My Background

Emma Vulin has served as the State Member of Parliament for Pakenham since the November 2022 election, representing the suburbs of Pakenham, Officer, Pakenham Upper, Pakenham South, Officer South, Dewhurst, Rythdale as well as parts of Nar Nar Goon North, Cardinia and Beaconsfield Upper.

A devoted mum of two teenagers and following in her mother Pat's footsteps as an electorate officer, Emma worked for the former Premier Daniel Andrews in the electorate of Mulgrave, this gave her skills in assisting constituents, achieving positive outcomes and serving a community.  Prior to her experience in Parliament, she gained valuable broad experience in retail, administration roles and as a veterinary nurse.

Emma's deep commitment to her local community, evidenced by her volunteer work with the Country Fire Authority provided her with a profound understanding of the fulfillment derived from helping others. It was this realization that motivated her to pursue a career in Parliament.

As a dedicated Member of Parliament, Emma's primary focus revolves around ensuring her community receives the essential infrastructure it both requires and deserves. The Pakenham electorate is experiencing rapid growth, demanding investments in crucial areas such as education, public transportation, road networks, healthcare, and local employment opportunities. Emma passionately advocates for these necessities.

Emma's personal experience, having endured a significant stroke at the age of 36 and sadly being diagnosed with MND at 43, has fueled her advocacy for accessible, high-quality healthcare and rehabilitation services within her community.

Emma will continue to honourably serve the Pakenham Electorate for as long as she can.
